EXTREMELY RARE VINTAGE 1950'S WARNER'S "GAY DECEIVER" FRENCH J. BERLE' DELINEATOR BLACK LACE OVERLAY PADDED BRA S

Item #: 1005129 Click on image to see more pictures! This is a fantastic find and you will be hard pressed to find another! It's a unique design that appears to almost have a specific purpose in mind, perhaps photo shoots. The cups are perfectly round, padded and wired, lace overlay on the front, thin straps for adjusting. There are two tags, one being the Warner's tag that indicates the style as a "Gay Deceiver" and 41AA. The other tag lists the French designer J. Berle' and it reads "Delineator", New York, Paris and the number 2. Definitely in excellent condition and does not appear to have been worn. The bra is small, my mannequin is a 34 and it does fit her fine. The cups actually measure 4" across and about 12" in diameter. I would call this an A cup in US measurements. When laid flat, it is 26" from tip of strap to the other tip and will stretch up to about 40", which would be the strap across your mid back. All straps are elastic and self adjusting. Under arm to underarm in the front is 11.5" to each end of the cups. Gorgeous lace ruffle around each cup as well. I can't say enough about how pretty this is. Without a doubt, very rare. Perhaps it was acquired at a lingerie store in France and made it back to the US intact, no one knows! For the sake of size, my title reads S for small. The word that comes to mind is burlesque!
