VINTAGE 1980'S ITALIAN MADE TANNER GENUINE LEATHER SNAKESKIN EMBOSSED HANDBAG / PURSE / CROSSBODY
 | Item #: 1004812 Click on image to see more pictures! Made by Tanner in Italy, this is a lovely and larger sized purse that you can wear as a crossbody or remove the strap and make it a clutch. Day or evening, it's very stylish and eye-catching. There is a wide snap closure on the top and a clean inner lining with a zipper pocket as well. It's measuring 12" wide by 6" top to bottom, add 20" more for the strap drop. You can even change the strap if you like, very versatile! Try a gold snake chain or even a lucite handle! Overall, it's in great condition all around, with the exception of a few "scales on the one side that have separated from the purse, very minor. This likely happened because it's a crease point on the purse. You really do have to inspect up close to see it. A few light scratches on the hardware, nothing major. I am not an expert, but I believe this is faux snakeskin, an embossed genuine leather. I didn't see much about this designer when I researched it, I'm going to guess it was around the 80's?
