his serving bowl is gorgeous, with embossed surface, floral design on both pieces (with one bouquet on the inside bowl) and what I believe to be authentic gold accents on the lid, handles and footing of the bowl. It has a Weimar stamp at the bottom that research says it's dating somewhere between 1848-1933, which is the green stamp used during that time period. What a perfect addition to your vintage table setting, bridal shower, wedding, tea party or anything where you need to upscale your serving decor. There is also a gold stamp on the bottom, see photo. It measures 10" across from handle to handle and stands about 5" tall including the handle to the lid. There is a ring of a worn or rough area on the inside of the bowl and on the lid, where the bowl and lid would meet. This comes from normal use of the tureen.
