Vintage 1940-50's Connaught Tan 100% Cashmere Cardigan Sweater with Mink Collar & Rhinestones L.....This wonderful piece of lady fashion history is about as cute as they come. The body is 100% imported cashmere, soft and comfortable. The collar is mink, soft as well, non-detachable. There are 2 non-functional style rhinestone buttons on the cuffs, rhinestone clusters at the waist for closure. This is going to be yours for a bargain, just a few behind the scenes issues that you have to look for. First, as is common with fur pelts, there is a bit of splitting at the edges, this can be remedied with a little research on the internet. The clasp at the waist has 2 sections, each one is rectangular, 3 are missing on each cluster. These should be easy to find, problem solved. It has a silk lining, one small hole in the lining where you would view the tag on the neck. I am calling this a Large, due to the bust size. Bust will fit up to 42" when clasped at the waist & loosely open at the chest. My mannequin is a 34, you can see it fits on her a little big. The sleeves are 22" long from shoulder to cuff, length from shoulder to waist in the front is 18". Price for this lovely piece is a jaw dropping bargain of only $49. Necklace not included.
