VINTAGE GOLD TONE "ORIENTALISM" INFLUENCE LAVISH MEDALLION SCREW BACK EARRINGS

These spectacularly ornate earrings are early 1900's influenced, so lovely, very versatile. They have a screw back, which was popular beginning in 1894 up until the earring clip was invented in 1934. Even ladies with pierced ears wore the screw backs. These earrings are 3" long from top to bottom, a little tarnished as you can see by the photos, overall lovely. The lady I acquired these from restored antique jewelry, she replaced the little balls that are shown on the other side of the screw backs. I am not sure of the age, but they are definitely unique and pre 2000's.
