VINTAGE 1876 SILK CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION PARADE PETTICOAT DRESS COSTUME - MUSEUM PIECE - WATERVLIET, MI - 32 PETITE

Item #: 1003423 Click on image to see more pictures! I acquired this historic dress as is. Made of silk and lace, used in a centennial parade in Michigan in 1876. The red has long since faded, the silk on the bodice has torn over time. Some sequins are missing as well. The inside is antique lace, appears to be a handmade dress. It would definitely be a grand addition to a museum or display, even as found. If you have any specific questions or need more measurements, please contact me. Bust will fit 32", waist about26", hips 40" and the length is approximately 38" from shoulders to hem. Even with the flaws, it's a wonderful find nonetheless!
