Vintage Early 1900's Handsome Handcarved Mahogany Footed Clock Frame.....This is a wonderful find, really upscale and refined looking. It is carved on the front with what looks to me to be a face, very ornate. The piece is 10" tall, 9" at the widest point of the base, 2" thick. The opening for the clock face is just shy of 13" circumference, just over 4.5" wide. Imagine the possibilities when you complete it with a stylish antique clock! Building your own antique clock makes this a unique and one of a kind piece. I gave it a cursory surface cleaning, but I will leave the deep cleaning in the crevices up to the buyer. I don't see any major issues, appears to have held up nicely. I was told that it is early 1900's when I purchased it.
