Vintage Limoges Fragonard "Love Story" Powder / Makeup Compact w/ Mirror - Switzerland.....A gently pre-loved little compact with a limoges scene on top by artist Fragonard (1732-1806). I believe this was a common theme in the "Love Story" category for this artist. The compact itself is wonderful, I don't see any real issues here. The screen appears to have some wear, definitely used for makeup storage prior. The mirror is beveled and looks fine, no cracks. Inside it is stamped "Made in Switzerland". The measurement is 3" x 3". An attractive addition to your compact collection or vintage vanity display - or even your purse!!
